Hi everyone out there,
We have just finished our summer tour, around in beautiful sunny Denmark.
It was incredible to share our songs with you all and being on stage together. We just feel so inspired.
It has been a wonderful and magical journey and on it continues.
We are sad that we didn’t get to visit Norway this time around, but we will for sure be touring there as soon as the new plans are coming together. Cause we miss it so much
Our long time booking agent and good friend Jørn from PFM Management has decided to take a break from his agency, and we want to thank him for all the years and great moments we’ve had together!
The Savage Rose are at the moment making new decisions about the future, and soon we hope to present new plans, for concerts as well of new recordings, Live DVD, etc. It’s all looking bright and we’re excited about everything.
Thank you everybody, who were there with us at this summers concerts, making us fly high!
Yeah!! We´re still flying, and can’t wait to meet you all again in the land of honest and real beautiful music.
Last week a very good friend and a great Artist passed away, George Duke.
George Duke, with whom we made the lovely recording of Black Angel in Los Angeles in 1995, and who brought us together
with the wonderful musicians: Byron Miller, Ricky Lawson, Ray Fuller, and the beautiful Crenshaw High school Elite Choir.
Through the recording sessions we also got to know and record with the very great musician Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones) who stayed with us throughout the sessions.
Although he was only supposed to play on one song, he kindly asked us, when he had heard the music, to play on the rest of the album, and happily for us, so he did. Later we went on a tour around Denmark, and Ray Fuller came over and joined in.
Through the ten years we were living in LA, we worked with Georges beloved, and hard working, great engineer Eric Zobler who became a long time friend of ours. George had a studio at his home where he made his music, but Eric were the man of the sound, and soon he and Thomas were diggin’ into the land of sound together.
We had met George earlier, before our arrival in Los Angeles, at a Christmas-concert in Rome, and told him about our wishes for the album Black Angel. 3 days later he called us from LA, and told us to come over, and everyone of these wonderful musicians would be ready for the recording.
In those days that followed, and for the next 10 years in L.A. where we then decided to live, we had many beautiful times together.
Right now, its easy for me to see Thomas and George jammin’ beyond our time.
Thank You for playing the good music, that will be staying with us always, and never dies.
The Savage Rose
