Hello everyone of you
Thank you for all your nice and informative comments. I’m sorry that the website has lacked information and news about Savage Rose concerts and events. But this year has been very strange for the Savage Rose, and also for all of us, who have been waiting to find them on the stages in Scandinavia and Greenland, only to discover, that everything was cancelled in the end, because of the “financial crisis”. Allthough some of us saw Annisette and some of the musicans perform in spontanious events, playing for different political matters, and I know that we will definitely be seeing them perform again, in support of important and needed matters. Oh Yes! Some of us were lucky to be at the super wild concert at Amager bio, the only concert in Denmark this year. And with fans coming all over from Germany and scandinavia…. it was definitely an unforgetable night of energy and honest beauty. What I can tell you about future events right now, is this… Savage Rose are woking on the next album. Songs are being made and hopefully it will be released before summer 2010. Meanwhile, keep your ears and eyes open. Some of you are allready kindly sharing your helpful informations of the Savage Rose’s whereabouts, and a BIG THANK YOU for that! Especially Frede and Marina. This forthcoming Saturday, October 3rd, at 10 in the morning, Annisette and 2 musicians, Rune Kjeldsen guitar and Anders Christensen bass, will be playing a couple of songs at the Psychiatry topmeeting for mentally ill people and their families. It’s all taking place at the Frederiksberg gymnasium. On the 2nd of November, Annisette and some of the musicians will be playing and supporting another urgent matter, the charity event in aid of Danner, a crisis centre supporting vulnerable and abused women and children. It’s taking place in Tivolis Concerthall in Copenhagen (which is also the birthday celebration for the House of Grevinde Danner). On 11th and 12th of December, Annisette will be performing as a guest star in a concert with the very first drummer of The Savage Rose, Alex Riel, who is putting this concert together. Line up also includes drummer Stefan Palsborg (Alex Riel taught him to play when he was a little boy), Jeppe Tuxen on Hammond organ and Palle Mikkelborg on the trumpet and flugelhorn. The concert is taking place in Skuespilshuset - portscenen, located at Sankt Annæ Plads 36
in Copenhagen.
About NY There will be some concerts in the new year in NY, but its not in place yet - when and where. Stay tuned. Savage Rose will also be playing at a few festivals in Germany. The whole spring and summer is still being scheduled, but I can asure you, that it looks like it will be a great Savage Rose year. I´ll let you know as soon as I know more.
